A little update. :)

Haven't gone online in a while. Been busy. :)

Anyway, I've got 2 updates I'd like to post.

The 1st one is that our house in Georgia Club will begin construction next week. :)

I can't wait until it's finished. They say it'll take 6-8 months to finish, which means the house will be done around August or October.

Just to give you a little idea on how our new house is going to look like...

It's going to look like that, but bigger. And also, the outside will be painted green, not yellow. :)

I wanted white, but green is cool.

The 2nd update I wanted to tell you about is that we're currently studying HTML in our IT class, and I've started making my own website. I'm still fixing it, but I can give you a little peek. :)

I thought it was really good, so I posted it here for everyone to read. :)

Twilight Movie Review

If the books weren’t enough, a movie just had to be produced to satisfy the fans craving for Twilight. Mark Morgan, Greg Mooradian and Wyck Godfrey, in collaboration with Stephenie Meyer, produced the long awaited big-screen version of the famous book, Twilight.

Twilight is a modern-day forbidden love story between a teenage mortal girl and a vampire. Isabella Swan (more commonly known as Bella), comes to Forks, Washington to live with her father when her mother re-marries. She doesn’t expect much to happen until she meets Edward Cullen, a mysterious and dazzlingly beautiful boy unlike any she’s ever met. Edward is a vampire, but he is unique in that he chooses not to live through human blood. Intelligent and witty, Edward sees through Bella’s soul. Soon, they are swept up into a passionate romance.

The cast for the movie was exquisitely chosen to fit each character’s personality. Kristen Stewart portrayed Bella perfectly. Other than the resemblance in looks, she showed almost exactly how Bella would act. Stewart didn’t only act out a character in a movie. She became the character herself. She became Bella Swan. Robert Pattinson, on the other hand, gave a clear view on how everybody’s favorite vampire would look like. He acted out Edward’s part quite well.

For those who haven’t read the book yet, they may find the movie romantic and thought-provoking. Parents, readers and non-readers alike, may like the movie because it also exhibits the practice of self-control, a common problem with children. But for readers of the book, they may get disappointed with the cut-offs in the movie. One of the things omitted in the movie were the passionate scenes between Edward and Bella. There were also important conversations that were excluded from the movie. There were also scenes that were included in the movie which was not in the book. Online posts also showed that there were crew members that didn’t appeal to the fans’ standards.

For those who are looking for a modern-day Romeo and Juliet, Twilight is a must-see.

Sealed Official Book Cover

The front, back and side cover has been officially approved by the author. :)

Front Cover:

I can't say I'm actually satisfied with this, but the author liked it, and that's enough for me.

The problem with this is the petals underneath the bottle. T_T

You see, before I started with the Sealed Cover you saw in one of my previous posts, there was another Sealed Cover.

And that cover had petals underneath the bottle. The cover you saw before didn't have any.

The reason why I removed those petals was because, in the cover you saw, I used brushes* for the scattered petals. However, by using those brushes, I would have to remove the petals underneath the bottle(which, by the way, is a picture the author gave me) because they were a different color from the brushes. Yeah, I know, I can just use the same color the petals underneath the bottle had on the scattered petals, but the problem was, I couldn't get the color right. They were just different. So I removed the petals underneath the bottle.

But the author liked those petals so I had to return it. I told the author that the scattered petals and the petals underneath the bottle would just have different shades from each other. She said it was alright.

So there. The cover's finished. But it just looks so ugly. T_T

I don't think it looks realistic enough.

Back Cover:

I'm really satisfied with this. So was the author. :)

I wish the front cover was as good as the back cover. :|

Side Cover:

I officially joined TG a few days ago.

It's ok, and a lot of people are really nice. :)

I noticed that there are a lot of Twilight fans there. xD

Anyway, I'll be shopping for gifts along with my sister.

I've already given gifts for my friends so all that's left is to buy gifts for my family. :)

It's always been hard to buy gifts for males. :|

As for my Mom, I already bought her a gift.

My Mom crochets a lot-she made me a crocheted skirt and bolero-and she once mentioned this book about crochet she found in National.

After school, I asked my Mom if we could stop for a while at Paseo so that I could buy a Correction Pen at National.

She parked and I quickly went in the store, took the P700 book, the Correction Pen and made my way through the counter.

I paid, then asked the lady at the counter to put the Correction Pen in a separate bag from the book. xD

I hid the book in my bag, then went back to my Mom.

She didn't notice a thing. :)

This, of course, happened a few months ago.

Books can disappear quickly, so I thought that I would need to buy that book soon.

Oh, I also gave the book on her birthday, which is Dec. 13.

So I figured I won't really need to buy her a gift anymore. :)

These girls are amazing. They're both really into their playing, and they both make such wonderful sounds.

Emily, the one on the violin, has a perfect form. She played the piece perfectly.

These girls are amazing too.

I can't help but wish that I started studying the piano and the violin at such a young age like these kids.

Valerie & Dominique are very, very good. I see a lot of videos of them performing together. And apparently, the violin and the piano aren't the only instruments that Dominique and Valerie can play.

Valerie is really into her playing.

And I don't know how Dominique can read all those notes and flip to the next page so quickly while playing the piece and not stopping midway.

I can't believe it's over already. xD

But then again, the party was short. Very short.

But it was still a lot of fun.

We had a couple of games first, then we proceeded to the buffet table.

Valerie brought this really huge pizza. XD

And there were a LOT of sodas.

Bottles and bottles of them gathered in one corner on the table.

There were brownies and doughnuts too, but I didn't eat any of those. :P

I just ate a chicken and a slice of Valerie's humongous pizza. XD

I received various stuffed toys, key chains, bracelets and pouch bags as gifts. They were all so cute. Ü

I absolutely thank the people who gave me these gifts. I love them and will definitely use them. :D

Oh, and from now on, I'll try to write longer blog posts. :))

All of my other blog posts are short and boring. :P

Midnight Sun: Put on Hold

So where does this leave Midnight Sun? My first feeling was that there was no way to continue. Writing isn't like math; in math, two plus two always equals four no matter what your mood is like. With writing, the way you feel changes everything. If I tried to write Midnight Sun now, in my current frame of mind, James would probably win and all the Cullens would die, which wouldn't dovetail too well with the original story. In any case, I feel too sad about what has happened to continue working on Midnight Sun, and so it is on hold indefinitely.

Georgia Club

We're moving.Yay. :D

We've been trying to convince our parents to buy a new house in a village for a long time now.

And they finally agreed yesterday.

Someone had given my Mom a brochure and an offer for a tour around Georgia Club.

What we liked about Georgia Club was that the houses there were all American-styled. XD

And there's a garden* with a gazebo...A swimming pool in the Club House. 8D

Plus,it's near our School. :]

They showed us 3 types of houses.Ashley,Fairfax(I'm not sure if I got the name right) and Augusta.

Augusta is the largest house they have.

After showing us the 3 types of houses,they led us to the biggest lot they have in Phase 1*,Block 15,which is Lot 10(at the end of Phase 1).

My parents decided to buy that lot,and they were deciding on picking Augusta for our house.They asked if we could add more floors,though,because there weren't enough rooms for everyone. xD

They said that if we were planning on buying a House and a Lot,we could renovate the inside but we can't change the 'look' of the House outside(i.e adding floors,etc.),because that would change their style of the House.

However,if we buy the Lot only,we would be in charge of how big our House is,and how many floors it would contain,as long as we follow the theme of the village,which is American. ;]

So we bought the Lot,which costs P4,000,000.It'll take one year before construction begins,because we have to complete the payment before they start the construction. [We're going to pay P130,000 every month.*]

After they(our architect and my parents) plan everything,construction will begin.After construction,it's time to begin designing the house(our interior designer).After that,we can finally move in to our new house.

We'll have to move in at around 2009. T_T

* Gardens are taken care of by Georgia Club,but it belongs to whoever bought it.Which means,we own the Garden,and we can do whatever we want,but Georgia Club takes care of the plants and stuff. >:)

* There are 3 phases in Georgia Club.We chose Phase 1 because Phase 2 and Phase 3 was too far away. xD

* There are two ways of paying.Either you pay them immediately,or you pay them little by little [P130,000 is little? O.O] every month. :]
